The Baroness Marion Lambert wanted to redo his apartment in Geneva. She willingly tells that she had to leave 110 messages on the answering machine of Jacques Grange before that this is the time to respond. That is, the chance to "les echos""weekend" to be able to approach him so he engages in a preview of the Pavilion booths tour. Even if to finalize article, it took juggling between Paris and New York! Is that the reputation of our expert is now such that it is always travelling across the planet. In the early 2000s, a group of critics awarded him the title of "best designer living in the world." At the time, it keeps gallivanting to honor the requests of admirers. Yet, he likes nothing as his district of the Palais Royal in Paris, where he was fortunate to occupy the former apartment of Colette. But as he has always wanted a new challenge, it is each time ready to meet any new solicitation. As this nomadic life help to feed its style.
His legend began in the years 1970-1980, when he had decorated apartments deprived of Yves Saint Laurent. Isabelle Adjani, Princess Caroline of Monaco, Pierre Bergé were also past command. The Guerlain family or even Alain Ducasse for his restaurant parisien. Beginning of the Millennium, he has been responsible for reconfiguring the Barbizon Hotel interiors in New York.

His clients are saying about him he managed them to reveal their identity by the choice of colours and materials to suggest. Furniture
The table of Ico and Luisa Parisi
At the HP gallery - the Studio of Elisabeth Hervé and Marc-Antoine Patissier, the eyes of our indicator of trends was arrested on a dining room table. Jacques Grange has been sensitive to the clever mechanism, base of actuators and pins the lateral shift of the plateau. It is covered with laminated wood of black lacquer. Its cutting married a freeform shape.
As the aesthetic audacity, here it is the vision modern and technical artwork that captured the imagination of our visitors. However, the fact that it was a single piece spoil nothing. It was designed in 1967 to integrate into the furniture of the casa Fontana bordering Lake Como in Italy. All planes passing through the choice of colours, furniture was designed by the same couple of architects, Ico and Luisa Parisi, to a total art work. But Ico Parisi had produced furniture series in the 1950s, which currently sells very well. A unique piece with its timestamp values still more expensive. For this centerpiece of its stand, Marc-Antoine Patissier announces a price of 80,000 euros.
Table
A visionary collage
of Dubuffet
Currently, the rating of Damian Hirst explodes. It's this artist which aligns decomposed cow heads. Often, it proceeds by collages. Discovering the catalogue of the Hopkins and Custot Gallery, Jacques Grange wanted tribute in the form of blink of an eye. The stand is entirely devoted to the work of Jean Dubuffet, who scored his century by constantly renewing his style. As explained by the exhibitors, "he experimented in multiple media and materials, thus shaping an aesthetic of the art of current and accessible to all life." However, his experiments, include a collage that won our expert Decorator. Because, in his eyes, he is with poetry and humour.
In fact, it is built from wings of butterflies and watercolours. The table, of modest dimensions (26.5 17.5 cm) is nicely called: "Sylvain hair" or "head of profile." But considering that it was produced in 1953, the leading-edge of our world star of shoplifting meat is relativisé!
Is this visionary breath which has the attention of Jacques Grange, and the liberty taken by the artist with the shapes, materials, media. "The true art is always there where would not expected it," he said. Jacques Grange completely shares this philosophy. Side Prize: the Gallery is not yet fixed the final amount.
